In my musical life, I have had a HUGE love for the funky groove of George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. My first festival memories include seeing the P-Funk at Loyal Family's Zoe Jam. At the end of the set, there were about 300 people on stage with the band while they repeated "Ain't no party like a P-Funk party cuz the P-Funk party don't stop!". It was the craziest shit I have seen to date on a stage, and everyone DID make it off safely without the stage collapsing.

If you aren't familiar with the music history of George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. please take time to read all of this info over at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parliament-Funkadelic

P-Funk has been sampled by many many producers throughout the years, playing a major role in the sound of early 90's hip hop. George Clinton struggled with court battles that have gone back and forth for years over who owns the right to the funk. P-Funk Allstar Ronkat Spearman wrote this song with George Clinton. This song was written so that Uncle George Clinton could simply vocalize, while he still graces us, "GIVE ME BACK MY FUNKY MUSIC!

I was blessed to have this magical connection in music history take place. Thanks to Ronkat for putting me on this Official remix! I look forward to the future of the funk!
